Tamara Adams Heckle, OPES Director

Tamara began OPES on December 1, 2007 as a way to scientifically document the types of paranormal activity she grew up around and invited like-minded individuals to join her in her quest. Tamara has had an interest in the paranormal since childhood. At age 14, Tamara saw her first apparition which furthered her curiousity. During the day, Tamara works as a Show Services Event Manager, at night... those of us in OPES know her as "da boss lady"! Although, we shouldn't say "at night" since running OPES is pretty much a 24/7 job, but we all feel we couldn't have a better person running the show. Already a wealth of knowledge, Tamara continues her research and works on developing new investigative experiments.

Mike Everage,  Investigator

Mike has been interested in paranormal research since he was 17. He started out joining with friends researching local ghost stories and debunking their validity. However, a personal experience at age 12 lead Mike to remember  there was more out there beyond human understanding and not everything can be debunked. Mike has always had the mentality of finding a logical explaination to claims of paranormal activity and that's what lead him to join OPES. Mike works as a Help Desk Manager during the day and can be found on OPES investigations at night with a camera around his neck and digital audio recorder in hand.

Angela McLaughlin, Investigator

Angela has been interested in the paranormal since childhood and has been investigating for a few years now. She became hooked on the paranormal when a friend invited her to join a project called "The Closed House Experiment". As fate would have it, the responsibility of children and work, along with the financial commitment put an end to that venture, but Angela's interest in the paranormal did not cease. She started investigating with her husband, Rodney (also an OPES member), and again fate intervened as they met Tamara during an investigation at Prospect Place. During the day, Angela works as an Electrical Designer... but when the night falls she can be found on OPES investigations with her equipment (and husband!) trying to capture evidence of activity.

Rodney McLaughlin, Investigator

Rodney became interested in the paranormal field about 15 years ago when he saw his first full body apparition and he has been researching ever since. Rodney started out working with a group in Louisville, Kentucky about a year ago but came across OPES while attending an investigation at Prospect Place with his wife, Angela. During the day, Rodney works as a Machine Operator, at nightfall, you'll find him on OPES investigations using his high tech equipment to justify or dismiss claims of paranormal activity.

Glenn Heckle,  Investigator

Glenn's interest was piqued from listening to Tamara's stories, and the rest is history in the making! Glenn has been investigating for a while now and is always looking forward to conducting research using OPES methods. Glenn is also developing an inventory of hi-tech electronic equipment and will be managing it's use for OPES. During the day, you'll find Glenn working for a major tank manufacturer... on an OPES investigation, you're likely to find him soaking up information as he strives to get closer to the truth.

She joined Tamara at the Rolling Hills Event in Upstate New York in 2008, to investigate with the guys from TAPS, as well as Chris Fleming, Patrick Burns and other notable persons from the paranormal research fields. During the day Michele is a Victim Advocate, and has just completed her Masters Degree in Social Work. At night, she works towards finding a better understanding of what causes paranormal activity and learning how to document it.

Brady Crank, Investigator

Brady Crank, recently joined OPES for the opportunity to continue his personal quest to research paranormal activity. Having had paranormal experiences since he was 9 years old, he's always wanted to understand what he's witnessed and experienced and what better way than to join a group like OPES.  Brady is a hard worker with a passion for understanding and a passion for helping the people who need it most.
